The business
Lotus Travel & Explore is a travel planning and tour company based in Concord, North Carolina. It runs signature small-group journeys of fewer than 30 travellers, with boutique accommodation and local cultural experiences, to destinations such as South Africa, Vietnam, Ghana and European cruises, and offers personalised travel planning.
What the website does
The site links each group journey to online booking, offers a “Plan My Lotus Journey” consultation form for custom trips, and collects client testimonials through a review form. A travel gallery and a resources section support visitors who are still deciding.
What I did
I designed and developed this website. The build focused on four things:
- A fully responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Fast loading pages, with optimised images and clean code.
- A search-friendly structure: clear page titles, headings and descriptions, so search engines can read and index the pages.
- Clear routes for visitors to enquire or book.
